About the Brand
This logo for Dapper Design was created to embody a sense
of refinement, precision, and modern sophistication. I wanted
the mark to feel like a tailored piece, clean, intentional, and
confident, while still maintaining a contemporary edge. The
structure and form reflect the idea of craftsmanship, where
every line and detail is carefully considered, much like a well
made suit.
In developing this identity, I focused on creating something
that feels both elevated and versatile. The logo is simple
enough to be memorable, yet distinctive enough to stand out
in a modern design space. It represents not just aesthetics,
but a mindset, design that is polished, purposeful, and always
tailored to fit.

This variation focuses entirely on the geometric iconography, stripping away typography to test the strength of the visual metaphor. The sharp, angular construction of the tuxedo reminiscent of a shield suggest, it also holds the shape of the V linking back to my first name suggests a brand that values precision and modern sophistication. By removing the text, the design relies on the high-contrast negative space to communicate its "Dapper" essence, making it an ideal candidate for social media avatars or favicons where immediate visual recognition is paramount.
The primary logo for Dapper Design serves as a sophisticated anchor for the brand’s visual identity, seamlessly blending classic elegance with a modern, minimalist edge. The logo communicates a sense of high-end clarity and versatility, ensuring it remains legible and impactful across a variety of digital and physical mediums. The typography is the centerpiece here; the use of a refined, Bodoni serif typeface suggests a brand that is organized, professional, forward-thinking and trustworthy.
This variation is the most authoritative and symmetrical version of the identity. By centering the text over the icon and flanking it with the "EST. 2026" notation, the logo takes on the qualities of a badge or a seal of quality. This layout communicates stability and heritage, suggesting a flagship identity. The horizontal bar cutting through the center of the tuxedo icon provides a strong structural foundation, making this the best choice for storefront signage or primary brand assets. This version would be used primarily for products/leave-behinds.
The horizontal version offers the most balanced and versatile layout for professional applications like website headers or letterheads. By placing the wordmark and the establishment date to the right of the icon, the design creates a natural left-to-right reading flow that emphasizes the brand name. The use of a high-contrast serif typeface provides a traditional, "bespoke" feel that grounds the avant-garde geometry of the logo, effectively bridging the gap between classic tailoring and modern graphic design.
